It's
Prom season at San Irreal Senior High, and all the students are
looking for the perfect date! Taking cues from beloved 80s and
90s teen movies, Chicago dell'Arte presents their own spin on the
classic tale of the ugly duckling learning life lessons from her
real talking sidekick about how to be pretty and popular by taking
off her glasses, but keeping on her underwear so a nerd doesn't
show them to his friends while they're dancing in detention, so
she can get the boy of her dreams away from the slutty popular
girl who has developed feelings for the older guy who pretends
to be a student to gain inside knowledge on the goings on of high
school teens! All of this with the best soundtrack of the year
and in 3D! Come see the classic commedia characters get put through
the Hughesian ringer for a night of montages, music, and dancing.
From some of the minds that brought you The Chicago Tribune's 3

Murder on the Midwest Express
May 18th-May 21st
14
suspects. 7 actors. 1 dead body. The Toronto Zephyr zips from Chicago
to Toronto in three hours, every weekday, every hour, like clockwork.
But on a cold day in
January, the typically efficient train hits a bump in the road:
a murder in the first-class carriage. Suddenly, everyone’s
a suspect. The passengers had better come up with a culprit before
the Canadian Mounties find them at the end of the line. All aboard
to witness the amazing feat of seven actors playing all 15 distinct
characters. Come for the breathless costume changes
and stay for the final revelation.
